Preventing curious or unwanted animals from entering your home, the PetSafe Microchip Cat flap exclusively opens for your Pet, then locking once they are safely inside. Removing the need for awkward and uncomfortable collar keys, the Cat Flap, works with most Microchips, unlocking once they are detected. The initiative recognition system is ideal for homes with multiple Pets as the MicroChip Cat Flap can be used for up to 40 Pets. Allowing Owners to oversee their Pet boundaries, the 4 Way Locking System can be adjusted to control your Cat roaming. Providing for a quick and easy installation, please see the downloadable cutting template, for a precise fit first time.

The PetSafe Microchip Cat Flap reads the most common type of microchip implanted in cats FDX-B (15-digit).

Please note that chips with 10 digits, lettered characters, and those starting with 977xxxxxxxxxxxx and 98514xxxxxxxxxx are not currently compatible with the cat flap.

Note: Please follow the manual with regards to installation, If a problem is ocurring when trying to program the microchip(s) or reading them afterwards, have the placement of them checked by your VET and check the catflap has been installed at the correct height. If the batteries only hold a few weeks use good quality batteries. Also this product is not suitable for metal doors as metal causes interference.
