In rooms with a ceiling height of 2,50 metres, ceiling fans can be installed with or without an extension rod.

High Ceilings

In rooms with high ceilings, ceiling fans should be installed with an extension rod.

For optimum performance, ceiling fan blades should be at least 2,2 metres from the floor but no higher than 2,50 – 2,80 metres.

Angled Ceilings

In rooms with angled ceilings, ceiling fans should be installed with an extension rod.
